MATT REDMAN
Matt Redman is a GRAMMY®-Award winning worship leader and songwriter who has been a leading contributor to the global Church’s songbook over the last 20 years. His journey as a worship leader and songwriter has taken him to countries such as South Korea, South Africa, India, and Australia, as well as travelling through much of Europe. Along the way he has sung in venues such as Madison Square Garden, Berlin’s Olympic Stadium, and the Royal Albert Hall in London, and has recorded in the iconic studios Abbey Road and Capitol Records.
Matt Redman’s songs include The Heart of Worship, Blessed Be Your Name, Son of Suffering – and the double-Grammy winning 10,000 Reasons. A recent highlight is How Great Thou Art (Until That Day) for which Matt was commissioned to write a new verse for the well-loved hymn, and collaborated with friends Chris Tomlin, Matt Maher, TAYA, Hillary Scott and others for the recording.
Originally from England, Matt Redman currently resides in California with his wife Beth and their five children. Beyond music, he is the author of seven books on worship and also hosts the WOR/TH podcast – pursuing healthy worship and theology in our songs and services. Matt’s forthcoming live collection record, titled “Coming Back to the Heart,” will officially be his 20th album release.
