Peter Burton Signs with Integrity Music and Story House Collective
The singer-songwriter and worship leader begins his solo artistry journey
Jan. 22, 2025 (FRANKLIN, Tenn.) – Peter Burton, a California-based singer-songwriter and worship leader, recently signed with record label Integrity Music. Managed by Story House Collective and mentored by its founder, Matthew West, Burton recently stepped into solo artistry. “The number of experienced, talented, and incredible people who have chosen to believe in me and be on what I get to call ‘my team’ leaves me completely overwhelmed with gratitude to God,” Burton said.
Growing up as an overcomer of mental illness, Burton’s music tells the story of challenges that come with the human experience, instantly creating a sense of familiarity with others andpointing them to the faithfulness of God through lyric and melody. His message is Hope personified in Jesus Christ – the foundation on which his life and artistry have blossomed.

After spending many years touring and writing songs with former Integrity Music artist, Lincoln Brewster, Burton helped start Bayside church’s band, Thrive Worship. He contributed to their first album which resonated with many and charted at #1 on Billboard charts. His debut single, “IT'S A GOOD TIME TO PRAISE,” established his energetic and catchy sound whilst conveying a renewed sense of hope permeating his music.
“I remember the day Matt Armstrong played me Peter’s music. I was so excited by what I heard that I got his number and called him right then and there,” explained West. “Peter is a gifted worship leader, songwriter, and communicator with a bright future ahead of him. Burton is embarking on a promising artistic journey; one that started many years ago in the heart of his local church. Music was the catalyst to his relationship with God and he remains a worship leader to this day. With new music on the horizon, he seeks to also bring the hope he has found to people outside of church walls
