NEW WORSHIP FRIDAY: BE AMPLIFIED, LOCAL SOUND & THRIVE WORSHIP

Good Friday

Today is a sacred day that has been commemorated for centuries and we hope these songs will bring you to a place of worship and reflection. In the words of St. Augustine of Hippo, "If Christ had not been put to death, death would not have died. The devil was conquered by his own trophy of victory." As we remember the sacrifice of Christ today, we also rejoice in the coming celebration of His resurrection, knowing that we too will rise with Him! Death is never the end.

Gospel Music Executive Stephania Andry-Wilkinson has partnered with Integrity Music to release a new music initiative titled 'Be Amplified'. The first single, ‘Not Forgotten’, releases on April 15th. This song is led by the powerful vocals of New York-based Anaysha Figueroa-Cooper and conveys the passion she has for those who feel like their dreams have been buried and their prayers unanswered. ‘Not Forgotten’ speaks to the hopelessness everybody can deal with at time, pointing back to God, who is the unchangeable keeper of promises. "My hope for this song is to reach people in their deepest, most personal places to remind them that they are not forgotten; it’s so simple but so difficult to grasp sometimes," Anaysha concludes.

Local Sound introduce 'Time And Time Again,' a worshipful response to the faithfulness of God. This new song boasts an expansive melody and lyrics declaring truth and trust in our Father, reflecting the context of its creation as fear and challenges raged in the world, but Local Sound couldn’t help but see the ways God was continuing to show how He keeps His promise; the promise that He will be with us come hell or high water. ‘Time And Time Again’ resounds with endless gratitude for the kindness and nearness of God as well as reverence for the Lord’s steadfast goodness. Local Sound built a journey into this song, taking us from safety in the refuge of God’s presence to boldness and faith as the bridge declares words from Isaiah 61 and Psalm 139. Acknowledging God’s supreme authority and intimate faithfulness, 'Time And Time Again' makes space for reflection and new depths of worship from that place.

Thrive Worship announce the release of their upcoming live album with 'Coming Back', a first single that gives worshippers a breath of fresh air in this season. It can be so easy to take our first love for granted and to forsake an authentic relationship with God for a "go- through-the-motions," kind of faith. With 'Coming Back', ThriveWorship invite us to lay down our striving and to get back to the wonder and joy of really knowing Jesus and His Love. 'Coming Back' is an embodiment of one of the central themes of the band’s new album, 'Pour Your Spirit Out': Jesus changes everything and His arms are open wide! Worship leader Taylor Gall concludes, "We pray you find again the wonder of His Presence through this song," setting the scene for the passionate and jubilant worship that we can expect from the Californian team’s new project!
