NEW WORSHIP FRIDAY: Thrive Worship Ft. Mitch Wong, Outbreakband & Selah Ft. Gabriel Guedes

Outbreakband release second single 'Der Ausweg', a song that centres around the idea that Jesus is our hope and solution. 'Der Ausweg' is an empathic response to dark moments, which many, if not all of us go through. Outbreakband sought to pen a song that points to an answer in the context of worship, taking people’s focus away from the issues and darkness surrounding and magnifying the Lord instead. This single is a statement of hope and a song of comfort through which Outbreakband don’t shy from the reality of difficulties but lift worshippers’ heads to the peace found in Christ. 'Der Ausweg' carries the band’s vision to reawaken a passion for the Lord in the youth of Germany and bordering German speaking countries.

Thrive Worship release a new version of their standout song 'Coming Back' featuring Mitch Wong. Written by the latter alongside band members Taylor Gall and Mia Fields, 'Coming Back' came from their common desire to craft a song bringing worshippers back to the reverence of God’s presence. "Sometimes our familiarity drags us away from holy wonder and even our genuine love for God," Mitch says,"So instead of coming to God entitled, this song reminds us to come as grateful and innocent children to a loving and faithful Father." Thrive Worship’s collaboration with Australian songwriter and worship leader Mitch Wong offers the Church a fresh opportunity to encounter God in all His holiness, beauty, and joy.

After their recent international EP 'One Name' highlighting powerful songs from around the world, Selah release 'Glória E Aleluia' featuring Brazilian worship leader Gabriel Guedes. The trio introduced an English version of the song a few months back and now present it in its original language, Portuguese. This version of 'Glória E Aleluia' shows Selah’s heart for nations as well as their ability to embrace new expressions of worship. The single was written by Gabriel Guedes and Mark Alan Schoolmeesters in 2020 and their new version joins Selah’s Amy Perry’s powerful vocals to Gabriel’s emotive performance on an expansive sound bed of strings and pads.
