New Life Worship’s album “God Is” emerged when team member and producer, Kyle Smith, said “I want to make beautiful art for God.” This desire came to fruition as the lyrics and melodies formed prosody and originality within a local church, declaring God’s beauty with beauty. From the congregational piece “Faithful and True,” to the human devotion of “The Worthy One,” these songs all add theological insight and deliver intentional beauty. The heartbeat of this album is “a group of imperfect but passionate song creators and leaders giving their lives to add, hopefully, to the chorus of songs rising from the earth.” It is clear through these intentional and original songs that God is doing astonishing work within ordinary people in extraordinary places. The overall message New Life Worship aspires to share is “God IS Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and that has life changing implications.”
