NEW WORSHIP FRIDAY: Mission House, Thrive Worship, and Vineyard Worship

Family Nights Vol. 1: All Your Heart

Mission House wasn’t a band at the beginning. Taylor Leonhardt and Jess Ray simply gathered a group of friends and strangers who were compelled to sit around a table and sing songs about Jesus together. Recorded in Dallas, TX, “Family Nights, Vol. 1: All Your Heart” is a return to Mission House’s roots, capturing the essence of their early days which centers on the reality that we are loved by God and deeply in need of Him: “As much as we try to build a life outside God, it is never as good as we imagine it to be,” Taylor said. “But the arms of Jesus are also roomier than we ever imagined, and there is room for you in there.”

“Family Nights, Vol. 1: All Your Heart” is a stripped-back album highlighting the beauty of community with many voices recorded in the mix. Mission House wanted to make it a singalong project, one that listeners can come back to for encouragement on the journey of life. The new album was greatly inspired by the band’s personal lives over the last few years, “which has included doubt and suffering and some of the hardest stories we’ve ever had to live through,” Taylor added.

“Family Nights, Vol. 1: All Your Heart” tells that Mission House is still convinced that a life spent looking for God is not only a good life, it’s a beautiful one.

Thrive Worship Christmas: Volume 1

Thrive Worship introduces their new EP for the festive season, “Christmas Volume 1.” As a worship team, they’ve been putting together their own arrangements of Christmas classics each year for their church’s Christmas events. The joy and wonder shared through these songs sparked their desire to share their versions with worshippers beyond their church walls.

“These songs have a deep theological Christmas messaging,” said band member Chris Fox, “but the packaging is high energy and fun.”

Christmas Volume 1” is a project full of hope, joy, and light – reflecting the gift that God brought to earth in the form of his Son at Christmas.

Behold

Behold” is Vineyard Worship’s Christmas EP celebrating the joy of the Messiah’s coming, the promise fulfilled, and the hope of His return. This season, they invite listeners to take a longer look at the good news of Jesus, who came in humility to bring salvation to the world. Out of the darkness, a light has come. Featuring Heaven and Earth – a group of gifted worship leaders and musicians from Vineyard Columbus church – “Behold” includes a mix of old faithful Christmas songs and new originals, all designed to help us remember the great hope, love, joy, and peace that this season offers. As we celebrate the birth of Christ, we also look ahead to His return, joining the story of waiting in anticipation and knowing that one day we will behold Him face to face. Vineyard Worship’s hope for this album is that it blesses many as we join together in worship this Christmas.
