NEW WORSHIP FRIDAY: Gather Worship

Spirit and bride

Gather Worship releases awaited album, “Hear The World That You So Love Sing Back To You,” ahead of historic Gather25 event. Spearheaded by executive producers, Matt Redman and Jason Ingram, the worship collective presents 11 new songs intended to serve as the soundtrack to this one-of-a-kind event.

The new album is theologically rich, centering on Christ as its foundation, as well as the Church’s revival and unity, the gospel reaching the nations, and the reign of God. This diversity of subjects is also mirrored by the artists involved in this project, bringing together 20 worship leaders from ten different countries. Listeners will also hear songs in multiple languages including Mandarin, Hindi, Spanish, Portuguese, and Swahili.

“We gathered some songwriters for a few days in California and Jennie Allen flew in to convey to us all the vision of Gather25. Everyone in the room resonated so much with what she shared, and the songs started to flow,” said Redman. “The really special moment was seeing these songs come to life in the studio – especially once we started adding in the various contributions from around the globe.”

Gather Worship’s new project includes artists Tasha Cobbs Leonard (USA), Chris Tomlin (USA), Jenn Johnson (USA), Sinach (Nigeria), ELEVATION RHYTHM (USA), Martin Smith (UK), Miel San Marcos (Guatemala), Gabriela Rocha (Brazil), Kaestrings (Nigeria), Matt Maher (USA), Pambio (Kenya), Stream of Praise (Taiwan), Lindy Cofer (USA), Prakruthi Angelina and Akshay Mathews (India), Josh Aaron (Israel), Sandra Kouame (France), and Jean Jean (Haiti).

Redman concluded, “It all makes for such a unique project – and such a beautiful glimpse of the global Church – alive and well, and singing her heart out!”

“Hear The World That You So Love Sing Back To You” is a reflection of the vibrant global community of worshippers that will come together across cultures, denominations, and languages to participate in Gather25. The event is set to bring together the world’s 2.4 billion Christians for 25 hours of prayer, worship, repentance and commissioning.
