NEW WORSHIP FRIDAY: FAITHFUL & CITIZENS

Wondrous Things

FAITHFUL releases its newest single, "Wondrous Things," written by Sandra McCracken, JJ Heller, and Patsy Clairmont. The song extends a poetic invitation to the King who “only does wondrous things”, "May this room, may this city, may this earth be filled with His glory."

The collaborative effort infuses the song with a richness that extends beyond the music as Patsy Clairmont reflects, "I hope this song inspires hope and unity." Patsy's sentiment comes alive as "Wondrous Things" transforms into a mission in a world yearning for both.

Sandra McCracken emphasizes the song's timeless quality: "It's my favorite thing as a writer when a new song feels right away like an old song."

As this single finds its place in the upcoming album, FAITHFUL bridges the contemporary with the timeless, sharing truth that will endure for generations.

Citizens song

After their successful 6th album, Citizens releases a deluxe version of the project featuring acoustic tracks recorded live in Nashville. Taking their listeners on a thoughtful journey away from the need to find answers to infinite questions and pointing to Peace found in surrender, Citizens describe it as “a record for the lost, last, and least.”

The live additions capture the band’s magnetic nature, speaking straight their audience through songs that cover subjects such as imagination, discovery, and the beauty of divine mystery.

“Many times [we think] we are grazing the edges of God not realizing it’s our edges that we are bumping up against,” frontman Zach Bolen said.

The deluxe album creates a space where questions, perspective shifts, and expression are welcome. They invite us to consider that perhaps it is art and imagination which can open our minds and hearts even more to a God that is far bigger than words can describe.
